Update Build of RPG (8/31/2018)


Having not done an update in almost 6 months, I thought it was time to create a new build to show the progress of my game.

Developed using Unity 2017.4.3 along with Unity store assets (free and bought) and Mixamo models.

With this build, I've created about 1/3rd of the world mapped out with quests and exploration.  This update includes all of the following: dialogue system, inventory system, combat system, questing system with available quest log, mapping system, and save game system.  Currently the enemies have a number of different behaviors such as wandering, patrolling, stationary guarding, and attack and flee. The types of quests that can be done are kill and collect with an addition of some 2D puzzles to gain either rewards or add a special companion to the player.  The map system is very rudimentary - it shows the locations of specific landmarks as they are found.  I hope in the end to add a portal aspect to the map that the player can use to move from any found locations.

To further aid players, I've added in-game tutorials to explain how the mechanics of the game work.
